I have a book report coming up where we have to choose a novel with very strong main character - meaning, the character must be very well described in a way that the reader can easily picture him / her. They should also be (most of) the main focus in the book. I'm going to have to dress up as the character from the novel, act as the character, and explain their journey throughout the novel. Some examples my teacher gave us were: Catcher in the Rye, Broken Arrow, and David Copperfield. Another example could be Alice in Wonderland. I'm a 9th grade Honors English student. The level of the book should range anywhere from 9th - 12th grade. Any suggestions?
