Notice! 1050 Is Not A Cricket Prl!

Everything ever posted besides 1050 is a cricket approved PRL. 1010-1014, 1037-1042, 38xxx and anything else.

1050 was a corabination of 1040 and test evdo prl's before they were released. that is why it does not OTA in some markets.

How do you know which PRL is the latest? Is there a main website from cricket that specifies the latest PRL? I am in porltand and i can't even find my damn PRL everytime i do ##778# or ##778 it won't even go to the damn menu!

once evdo was put in full blown roll out mode prls were released starting from 1001->1013 (current) for non-triband phones as more and more markets were brought up.

Lol, Long time no Post I know. But im BACK BIT*%35! Miss me? I know. The PRL 1050 is a custom made PRL for evdo markets way back in the days of beta testing for it. Proof of concept type thing. Its obsolete now, dont use it. use something like 1040 thats always a winner (its official).

So it looks like a big area is covered by 1013...does that mean it is the Nationwide non roaming EVDO prl now? Just slap me around a bit if I seem confused lol!

1013 and 1042 are the same except 1013 allows evdo and 1042 does not. they are local only. roaming/pec prls are 38xxx nurabers.

actually i am using the 1050 right now, my phone is unlocked and fully clashed to cricket...

but i don't understand why when i call *228, it still says it can't reprogram my phone.

i wonder if it's because of the PRL

If you have the correct PRL (cricket PRL), correct MDN/MIN/SID, then 90% of the time your phone will OTA. There are some markets this isn't true, but I've found in san diego that any phone will OTA if your SID is set, even if MDN and MIN are set to 0's. As long as you use 1040 or 5044 PRL it works. The new cricket approved 38644 doesn't OTA yet for me :)
