Nothin worked, not even accutane, now what?

This happened to one of my best frienRAB, too. She had bad acne that cleared up after being on Accutane; however, soon after she stopped taking it, her acne came back! She talked to her dermatologist, who prescribed her low doses of Accutane to take a couple times a week. This worked for her.

Have you considered laser treatments? I am not positive what they have to offer, but maybe it would be beneficial to research laser treatment options.

Hi.....I have been on a oral medication (pill) called Spironolactone for 8 yrs now. I will never stop taking it! It is actually a water pill, but researchers discovered it worked really well for slowing the oil production on your face too. It keeps my skin mostly clear except for a few zits now & then. The med is relativley inexpensive too. Also.....try using Paul Mitchell's tea tree special shampoo as a facial cleanser. I have been washing my face with it for 2 yrs now & I think I have only had 3 zits since then! Like you I have also tried everything (Acutane (twice), otc everything, etc) My regimen also includes Proactiv. With using proactiv, spironolactone & the tea tree shampoo I have it all under control now. I definatley think the spironolactone does most of the work. I know how having acne can make you feel....please try what I have. Good Luck!
 
I know this is going to sound really tiresome and simplistic.. But that Willow water, is really good for acne.. I found anyway. Also... ice pack on the skin of the face for short perioRAB is good for blood movement. Worked for me.

Emm... CoQ10 cream from the US.. and the range is very good I use it. They totally rid me of acne! Hope that helps!
 
My husband is 44 and has always had acne. A few years ago I found something on the internet for him to try and he has had great skin since then.
He takes a few zinc and panthothenic acid tablets each day. I will have to ask him what the dose is...
I don't know if you would need to talk to a doctor first. He hasn't had any issues. He takes a multivitamin also.
