Notepad HELP, PLease!

HEY ALL!

I am having a very strange problem with my T2. My Notepad does not write smoothly anymore. It turns curves into straight lines or becomes erratic when I try to input info on the screen. I contacted Palm and they told me to do a hard reset and then try again. I did and to no avail! Any suggestions or other horror stories (LOL)? Cheers!

This may help. Try a different stylus that is more of a point and not so rounded, and see if there is any change. Also if you are using a screen protector, may be it is time for a clean up. G.P.

If you have a screen protector sometimes it needs to be changed or it's been applied incorrectly and is causing pressure to be on the screen in an area that will impact the notepad application, as well as other apps.

You could try to redigitize your styllus as well....

Carol,

just a reminder - a hard reset forces a digitizer reset but since we both use T5's it's so easy to forget that fact.

I tried everything you all suggested but still not quite the way it was before, SIGH. But, I guess that is what happens to something that gets used and abused for two years, huh? CHEERS!
