I'm an avid Evernote user - I never approach an important meeting without the popular note taking app. But while I'm at my desk, that colorful and easy to grab set of Post-It Notes reigns supreme.
It would appear that my two favorite note mediums have discovered each other, and have fallen in love...
Technorati listed tech blog Hot Hardware shared just how the two note taking giants have teamed up to make your life even more organized.
According to Hot Hardware, Evernote will allow its users to now color their virtual notes using the very familiar and bright color palette (electric yellow, limeade, neon pink, and electric blue) of the popular square paper Post-It series, in order to more visually break up different types of notes.
But seriously, things don't stop there...
Got a bunch of to-do's written down in a variety of colorful Post-It notes, scattered around your desk or on your computer monitor? Put them together on your desk and take a photo of the paper notes, using your Evernote app's new built-in Post-It Note Camera! The latest iOS iteration of the cloud-based note taking application will clean up the text and place your Post-It's, colorful background and all, into your Evernote notes.
According to the official Evernote Blog, Post-It Notes of a particular color can even be automatically grouped together in Evernote notebooks, keeping your thoughts and reminders together for easy location and analysis.
As stated, the upgrade to Evernote allowing Post-It Note integration is only available for Apple mobile devices, at this time.
