windows mobile is by far the WORST operating system for a phone, it is far too similar to actual sindows and nobody wants to have to hit a start button on their phone to do ****. Phones work much better in a table top icon based operating system.

If you are willing to spend $15 on a data plan you might as well spend $30 and get an iphone you won't be disappointed.

If you're willing to pay the extra $30 for data, I'd suggest the Palm Pre Plus.

There were a lot of deals on the Palm's. I even heard that some providers were waving the tethering fees, that would give you a mobile hotspot for free.

So what was the decision. Getting an iPhone is always a good idea. And you can just sell the old model for full price on craigslist and upgrade to the new model.
