Hi, I'm not sure where I should post. I'm the mother of a 20 year old multi-disabled daughter who has decided in her last year of school to start behaving completely out of character.
She was born deaf, needing glasses and had a heart defect. Before the heart surgery could be done she suffered a stroke at the age of 7 months. She then died and was brought back twice during and after surgery. So now we added stroke, paralysis on the left side (which came back for the most part) mentally disabled and petit mal epilepsy.
In the last few years we've added a round of c-difficile which left her with IBS and lactose intolerance.
In the last four and a half years I've had to deal with breast cancer, chemo, radiation, hemochromatosis, fibromyalgia, ovarian tumors (both removed) and instant menopause and a burn out.
Where can I find the right support forum, I know I can't be the only one dealing with this kind of full bag.
Any advice would be appreciated.
