Not looking for a diet but a healthy lifestyle?

I'm 19 and I'm 5'2 and 165 lbs. most of my weight is in my thighs and lower stomach, I honestly don't look my weight I look about 140lbs. I would like to start eating healthy and practice regular exercise. My goal weight is between 125-130. I would like to be 145 or 150 by August. Any suggestions or helpful tips?
