Not eaten for 4 days, food poisoning....?

How long can you go without food before getting seriously ill? Went to the docs yesterday and he just told to drink plenty of water and took a stool sample (which results will take 5 days to come back??) I feel very ill, stomach cramps, have lost a stone in weight and have not slept for 4 nights as every time I lay down I have to go.......

Due to nil by mouth since saturday I cannot concentrate and feel very light headed. Even a mouthful of water goes straight through me in less than a minute!

Any input would be great thanks.

You can survive 3 weeks without food only 4 days without water
BLAPPA.

drink warm water bit by bit (sip it)otherwise you will be dehydrated.
