Not Connection to the internet

Hello, I just purchased the curve 8900 today and everything is going all well, until now i cannot connect to the internet. On the screen it pops up Unable to connect to the internet please try again later. I was wondering if anyone is experiencing the same thing tonight?
 
It can take up to 24 hours for your phone's data plan to get activated.

Did you purchase the phone from AT&T at a local store, thru an authorized retailer, or from a private party?

I haven't had the problem. Are you able to connect over Wi-Fi? If not then we know it's a device problem. If you can, then it may still be a problem with the device being registered on the BIS network, but could also be T-Mo.
 
It may take an hour or two to have an internet connection but realisticly it should be working when you walk out the door. Talk to your service provider about your problem and congrats on your 8900

Thanks everyone, i know this is a late response, been busy with the new phone. Everything is back to normal. I had to wait on T-mo to activate the data plan. Thanks again everyone! The stacks RULE!!
