Not a hero unless you die...

Wait, is it suicide if a suicidal person dies for another person?

I think I want to die saving people... It would be the best way to die.

Only because they gave their life for another.. showing that they thought for someone else SO much more, that they cared for someone else's life and not their own.

I can tell you right now, that when I die, people will look back on my life and see that I have accomplished nothing.

They won't remember anything I have done. And, if they do, they will soon forget. Then, I'll be forgotten, and the world will keep spinning.

Death doesn't really make someone a hero. But getting killed in the act seems more heroic. Why ? it's more dramatic ...
And some more Irony of death which isn't exactly the same, but it goes in the same direction. Every Author usually has his biggest time and highscore selling records when he dies. O_o

And about people who are still remembered... I mean let's take Caesar for example. Most people know the name. Quite a few even know what he is so
famous for. But who knows Caesar the person ? O_O no one. All the people who did have already died as well. So even if one was to do something so special that history will know him/her for all times. After sometime there isn't going to be one person left who really knows him/her. So why bother ? And does it make a difference ?

I do agree, that alot of the heroes that end up saving other's lives tend to die in the process, but it's ridiculous that the thought of "it's suicide" even comes to mind. There are many heroes in our great nation and it's military that saved plently of lives in the line of duty/battle and lived to tell about it. By, the way Comfy the Purple Heart was first established by George Washington as a way to recognize troops that are wounded in battle fighting for their country. Hence, the Purple Heart is awarded posthumously for anyone WOUNDED in combat. Meaning, getting hit by shrapnel, grazed by a bullet, stepping on a mine, etc. etc. is enough to recieve a Purple Heart. It's also awarded if the soldier/sailor/airmen/coastguardsman dies due to his wounds. For, instance I was reading an article in the Navy Times about an HN (Hospital Corpsman), who recieved the NAVY CROSS which is second only to the Medal Of Honor, for bravery and heroism in the line of fire. He rescued three fallen Marines in the line of fire, carrying them to safety on his back and in the process getting shot twice himself. He is alive today, and was awarded the Navy Cross by the Secretary of Defense. So, not all the heroes die in the process, unfortunately most of them do. There are plenty of soldiers/sailors/airmen/coastguardsman/marines who have gotten the Medal Of Honor and lived. But, anyway just thought I'd throw those stories out.

most people are only appreciated after they die, like van goughe (sorry can spell it) hes paintings sold for basically nothing when he was alive, when he died he's the next best thing....
as for me, im just gonna die and be remembered because theres a huge lump of marble over the hole im in, with my name written on it...
anyhoo i dont wanna die because i threw myself over the president of china taking the bullet that could have killed him, i wanna die in a cheap NHS bed with crying relatives finally listenign to me because i told them them theres nothing in the will for them unless they shut the fuck up and let me talk for once...
