Last night was our schools Valentine's Day dance. It was fun dancing around with my friends (i was kinda jealous cuz my friend is a better dancer than me i think) buuuut the slow dances were a nightmare. NO ONE. Nope. Not ONE person asked me to dance. I stood there looking like a complete loser with no one to dance and eventually a teacher chaperone came and paired me with some dumb 6th grader. I'm in 8th grade. I felt so stupid but I didn't know what else to do. If i asked someone they would say no probably( i've asked before at previous dances). The guy I kinda like asked my friend to dance, and he realllyyy likes her. She doesn't like him that much back but thats why im so jealous! She doesn't even like him that much and he like LOVES her.. My friend is really pretty too so i can see why...
I'm kinda fat and she's skinny and looks good in everything. I'm black and have poofyish hair, she's white and has a cute haircut and blond hair. Most guys at our school are white. Could these things be why she and other people are asked to dance and I'm not??
