I'm thinking of getting some myself.

Harley makes these in two widths...
Narrow for soft (Leather) Bags and Wide for Hard Bags....
Update: Thought i should clarify my statment,From the side rails look identical.From the rear the soft bags are not as wide so different rails are made.
You could use the wide rail on soft bags and have a space but not visa-versa as there is not enough room on narrow rails for hard bags....

They look great! But they DO complicate snapping/unsnapping the bags' straps. Also, both of mine have now had the fixed half of the front guard bar clamp detach from the rail tube.

I installed a set of Nostalgic Saddlebag Guard Rails on my Road King Classic and liked the looks very much. It took 30 minutes or less to install. I already miss my RKC but I still like my '09 Ultra Classic better. I wish I could have afforded to keep both.
