Here's another excerpt from Chapter 11. I got bored and thought I'd post. Well, that and I have writers block. Well, here ya go anyways. 
“What did you do Humphrey? Run back to your little high school girlfriend again?” She turned around in the parking lot. “You must have been pretty desperate for that. But I mean that’s all second rate singers can get right?” Lily looked at him, she could tell he was getting angry and she could also see the hurt in his eyes, but it was like she couldn’t stop. The words just kept coming out of her mouth. “The left over trash.”
Alison stood in the doorway of the bus, watching and listening to everything that was happening mere inches from her.
Rufus’s jaw clenched. “Oh and what? You’re doing much better with Reznor? You know what he’s like!”
“Maybe I like that!” Lily shouted back. “At least he’s a man that actually…actually made something out of his self and isn’t pretending to be some singer!”
Rufus stood there stunned. He couldn’t believe the words that were coming out of her mouth. And as hard as he tried to he couldn’t find it within himself to say hurtful things back to her.
Trent came up from behind Lily and wrapped his arms around her neck. She smiled and gripped both of her hands on his arms. “Hey baby.”
“What are you still doing here man? Your broke down bus is over there by the dumpster,” Trent laughed.
“Oh, him and his….’girlfriend’ were just leaving,” Lily rolled her eyes.
“Girlfriend,” he leaned over noticing Alison standing in the doorway. ‘Wow, Humphrey even a downgrade for you.”
Rufus turned around and saw Alison standing in the doorway of the bus. Her eyes suddenly filled with tears as she slowly looked at Rufus. She touched the edge of her dress before looking away as she stepped off the bus and started to walk toward the front of the parking lot.
“Oh look she’s crying!” Lily laughed as she leaned back into Trent. “Go back to Jersey honey!” Lily called after her.
“I…I don’t even know you,” Rufus shook his head.
Lily looked at him and gritted her teeth. “I don’t think you ever did.”
Chapter 11

I think you should definitely try to write a fan fic, I didn't think I would be any good and I've ended up knocking one out and am working on a few more! You never know until you try.
That's a sweet reunion idea between S(kank) and Rufus. Maybe this season she'll get me to like her again (MAYBE), she messed up too much in season 3 with Rufus (and Lily) for my taste, she needs to go back to being S1 Serena, but not asking her mom to stay away from Rufus. You know what I mean.

good points. i MISS their phone conversations. they were always always wonderful and i love their facial expressions when they're responding to what the other is saying, but only we can see it. so heartbreaking sometimes. even that deleted scene from 'wonderful lie' when Lily asks Rufus what she should do about Bart and she thinks he's going to tell her to leave him just bc they both want it but he doesn't. awwwww

This is just my second snippet that I have posted. You haven't missed! And yes, everyone kinda knows why, but yet at the same time we really don't know what happened, and that's the HARD part. Really thinking, and trying to stay in character is difficult! Everyone kinda has their own story in their head and either people are going to buy your version or they're not. Writing this is definitely a risky thing to do, especially how i'm doing it, and the stand points it comes from.

yeah i mean ok they were cute in season one and everything. but fact is they had a really own story more in season two. in season one they act more only as figures in the background as serenas mother and dans father hm..
but what i really liked more in season one was the phone conversation from both
and of course the hot kiss episode 17 and the funny dialogue after their first night:sigh:
but the another things by rufly were better in my eyes in season two. hm in season three they had a good storyline until episode 12 i think. and then there came only the drama with the letter and lilys lies and then daddy sighs.. that destroyed something the harmony there. so i was so dammed glad that rufly got it at end.

[Serena just got back from Paris and goes to see her mom and they hug and giggle and Serena tells lily all about Paris. Then Rufus comes downstairs and thngs become really awkward between the three. Serena, knowing that she had treated Rufus really badly asks Rufus if she can talk to him alone. They both go to talk at the kitchen table. Serena tells Rufus that she is really sorry for the way she acted and she knows that she hurt both him and her mom with her selfishness but she just wanted her dad to love her and be a part of her life. Rufus says that he understands how she would so easily jump at any chance to have her dad be back in her life for good and that he is so sorry that her dad is not a bigger part of her life because she really deserves a loving father. Then he will tell her how even though he is not her father that he loves hher and will always be there for her. Serena will thank him and tell him that she is really glad that he is not the kinda guy who would cheat on her mom and leave them because she is really happy that he is her stepdad and loves her mom and makes her happy. And then they will hug and all will be forgiven. /QUOTE]
that would be a really good family moment but i have daubts sighs that this will happens
oh my god i will really like to see that in the show. it would be more different for lily as her glamour things. they should really go out and not in a expensive restaurante. they should go to a pizza place and be only normally and not like as would they rich people and maybe they could dance together too.

Hi ocxfiles09, my name is Alexa, what's yours.
I don't want Rufus and Lily to be in the background like they were in a few episodes after their wedding in season 3...that was just boring, especially the episode where all they did was play board games with Hillary Duff. What I meant was that they don't have to have a main storyline all the time as long as they are interacting with the kids, going to events, doing brunch, and maybe having a few sweet moments to themselves. I DO want them to have lots of romantic moments and kisses next season but I am not a fan of them making out in front of the kids or too much in public. I love when they are in public and have their arms around each other or hold hands and give each other sexy looks. I would also love to watch them cook together again they are so adorable when they do that. I wish I could write better because I have a cute idea for a fanfiction involving a cute date night for Rufus and Lily in which they go out to a pizza place in Brooklyn and eat pizza and french fries and drink beer and act like teenagers with no money again.
In regards to Serena and Rufus, I understand that Rufus was trying hard to get along with Will for Serena and Eric's sake but I think he needs to tell Serena that directly because she isn't that bright and I don't think she gets it. But I love Serena and I have this really cute moment imagined between Rufus and Serena;
