My son had a bad problem with nose bleeds and we took him to an ears, nose and throat Dr. They ended up carterizing (sp?) some thin vessels that were pretty far up his nostril. The Dr. said that these are caused by the inside of the nose getting dried out and the vessel becomming so thin that even when he was sleeping it would just break and he would have bad nose bleeds. You might want to think about heading over to one of those specialist and have them do that if you are getting them that frequent. It takes all of about 30 seconds with a long Q-tip and thats it.
