HI All,

We'll be trying out our RV for the first time and looking for some fun places to go camping for children. We've been to the KOA sites but wanting to know where we can go for short notice reservations, affordable and fun for children? Where do you enjoy camping???

We're in Antioch, CA, (Contra Costa County) but really want to venture out and get away this weekend. So traveling is preferred....

i live in Nor Cal. My favorite camp ground is in McCloud! It's this adorable little town right at the base of Mnt. Shasta. They have a beautiful lake and a waterfall that makes you feel like you are in Hawaii! Google McCloud Ca. Have fun! :)
