North American Shonen Jump [January 2008] Talkback

IIRC, it's the first January cover that doesn't have Yugi on it (though, I guess the very first magazine had two editions, one with Goku on the cover and one with Yugi).

I forgot to check the mail until late at night and when I did my mom had already comondeered the computer.

I have elected to wait until the anime finishes the "Sasuke Retrieval" arc in the U.S. before I look into the new Naruto stories. I don't want to get ahead of myself.

Also, I frankly don't see why Beauty is so shocked that the magazine reaRAB right-to-left...

Viz is still on Drum Island!?!? You'd think that with the gang about to go to Skypeia on Toonami, they'd bump up production of the manga to let it catch up or something.

So ya, depressed Reborn! and Eyeshield don't get a volume in March (Good thing I haven't boughten the newest book of either series)
 
Well, that's just hwo things are. Because Viz does not like to publish one chapter from [Volume X] with two or three others from [Volume Y] in the same issue Viz will publish three chapters or two depending on how many chapters are in said volume (because volume seventeen is ten chapters long the material is published with two issues of three chapters and another with two chapters each).

After some research, Eyeshield 21 Volume 17 came out officially Deceraber 4, 18 on January 29, and now 19 April 1 so it's not all that surprising because twenty comes out in June. 21 hits stores in August.
 
hey, did anyone get volume 23 of naruto yet, cause i was reading it and noticed how they changed the sake Rock Lee drank to "private potion". I thought that was hilarious i mean Gai went on to talk about how one time Lee drank someone elses "private potion" in a restaurant, now it sounRAB like people in naruto carry around some private Potion crap arround, what are people going to think?. will they cal him the private potion master?
