Normal sex waiting time?!?

I've never really been in a relationship because it hasn't been a priority in my life. Now I'm starting to date (I'm 19) and although I'm still skeptical if I even want to have sex before marriage, I'm wondering what is the normal amount of time people date each other before starting to have sex?! I really have NO idea when people start having sex in their relationships. LIke the average/norm.
 
sometimes too much sex can ruin a relationship. cause then theres no more love you just get together to bang then thats pretty much about it. Im currently married and love my wife to death. im 24 years old. I had 7 sexual relationships before my wife and none went well cause we all started having sex within the first 2 weeks
