Ok im installing the Non-Ultra Audio Overlay Harness today and i have a question. Some of my connections and wiring are a little closer to the back of the headlights than i would like. Question is does the back of the headlights get hot enough to damage the connectors or wiring? Getting this harness tucked away nice and neat inside a Road Glide fairing is no easy task.

Thanks.

This is more of a bump than a reply with information.

Suggestion: Start a new thread asking for help routing the non-Ultra Overlay Harness on a Road Glide.

When I did my EG, I went with a series of adjustments over a month or two before the outer fairing would go on as if there was no NUOH on the bike.

FWIW, have as little as possible to the front of the HK; I found I could tuck most of the connectors I was using, and the unused connectors from the NUOH to the sides of the HK.

As for the heat question, the harness shouldn't touch the bulbs, just the connectors which don't get hot--at least not that I've notice removing my fairing after riding the bike.

Thanks, thats a good idea.....just not much out there on running this harness in a road glide fairing. Ive spent a good bit of time today trying to perfect it and its not easy.
