I Irish danced for about 5 years with a competitive school, and when I competed in my first Oireachtas, I decided that the intense training was too much for me. I would have to go four times a week, and it was just too stressful because I had a few other activities I participated in as well.

Now, after a year off, I realize that I miss Irish dancing a bit. However, I want a school where I can just go to dance and enjoy the cultural experience, maybe once a week. I don't want to compete or have teachers with high expectations from each student.

I live in northern New Jersey in Essex county. I've searched the web for a long time and all I can find is the Ridgewood Irish Dance school. That's about forty minutes from me, though, so I was wondering if anyone knew of any other schools.
