Been a loyal SE fan for a while; well at least since the P900. Since then I have had the M600, P990 and Z710i. Between all of these devices I have had a Nokia 6600, 6682, E61, 6131 and now the E65.
Well, I am now a 100% convert to Nokia and S60 3rd edition.
Nokia has proven time and time again that their handsets are ready for primetime. After getting past the lack of touch screen (been a long time Palm user as well as addicted to the P900), I have noticed the sound quality, reception and US carrier compatibility just blow SE away.
It is funny, I had the E61 first and for some reason thought the P990 was the way to go; so, after a few months of collecting dust, the E61 has become my main business phone and the P990 is making someone else happy since I sold it without looking back. The E65 has been a great addition to the phone family since I can check / write email, etc without the need for a full keyboard or large device. I mainly use the E65 when I am out to dinner, out and about, ambulance volunteering, etc. I still like the form factor of the E61 when reading documents, typing journal notes, etc.
My next business phone will be the E90. At that point, the E61 will be sold.
I hope this isn't of topic or that I get flamed for my comments. I just think after owning a number of devices from both manufactures, Nokia beats SE, IMHO!
