Nokia signing Symbian and Java apps for free

You think this will encourage more development for the S60V5 phones? Like a real VOIP application with no bloat and lots of features to voip software. And a media player that will play both video and audio of a live TV streams off the internet?

I tried that one and has no effect on my 5800. When I install it just disappears that I did the install. And beyond that Administor settings which already exist I don't see a "Client"

There is a client - the documentation is here. On the N97, you find it under Settings -> Connectivity -> Admin. Settings -> SIP Settings, then Options -> New SIP Profile. Creating a new profile then creates a new tab in Contacts, between the "Go Online" and "Groups" tabs...

I made a sip profile. It says "Not Registered". When I go to the Contacts there are only 3 tabs. "Contacts", "OVI", "Groups".
I dont think it meant to work on the 5800 the same way it is on the N97.
