nokia nuron problem?????

i just go tmy nokia nuron about 5 hours ago and sence i got it in the top right corner by where it has the battery power there is a thing and it looks like a text message allert thing that keeps blinking and i cant figure out how to make this go away
 
You have to delete messages off your sim card before you insert into new phone. The Nuron will not display messages you had while on your previous phone but will perceive as them being there and show that the sim card's memory for messages is full.
