I bought a Nokia N97 mini off eBay a few weeks ago, and all was working fine until this morning.
I woke up and looked at my phone, which had been under my pillow all night, and the screen wouldn't come on when I unlocked it. Then it flashed on with the low battery logo, and went off again. I just put this down to the battery being low, (which was more or less full last night btw) and plugged it in for a charge.
On plugging the charger in, normally the screen lights up, but it didn't this time. So I left it to charge for a couple of minutes, unplugged the charger and turned it off and on again - still no luck. The screen still wouldn't light up. So i tried taking out the battery, but still no joy.
Then after it being on charge for about 10 minutes, the screen flashed on and off, and repeated this about 7 times. Then it came on and it was really dull, and now its just not on at all.
The handset itself is fine though, as the camera still works and the haptic feedback of the touchscreen is still buzzing away.
The ribbon that connects the sliding screen to the rest of the phone appears to be in tact, and I have and NO problems at all with the phone so far.
Any ideas what's causing this problem, and what I can do about it, and how much it will cost?
