Nokia N95: Which SIM required?

Hello, this might sound a little basic, but I couldnt find an answer while searching the forums.

I am considering buying a N95, and I currently own a Nokia 6600 which uses a regular sim (No edge, 3G... whatsoever) and I would like to know if my SIM would fit into the N95 (with it being a 3G advanced phone and all) or am I supposed to get a new SIM card from a different kind (I'm in Israel)?

it'll work dude....3G,EDGE are network dependent technologies,they dont have anything to do with the actual SIM card

oh so i'll just have the phone without 3g,edge... features (unless i ask my provider for enabling them)?

That's correct, and of course your carrier has to have those features in the first place.

If you want 3g you'll have to ask your service provider for a new sim. Edge you will get automatically if your provider implements it on the gsm network.

I have a 4 year old SIM in my N95. Works fine.
