I just found a few interesting pics of the new Nokia N95's actual UI. I don't know how similar this is to other Symbian 9.1 phones, but I'm sure there are some cool new features this one has...

P.S. What is a barcode reader doing in a phone?
 
My N93 has it too....it usefull as some sites or when printed on actaul paper use it to inbed URL links, memo's , data;;s text or whatever.

Have any of you guys tried scanning things in stores, etc?
(I'm gonna look into that right now lol!)

Now all that's missing in these phones are RFID tags so u can carry virtual money ,credit cards, and house/car keys in there and then you wouldn't really need anything else in your pocket
 
so with this barcoad scaner can i go grocery shoping and scan everything i have so ill know if iam over budget? that would the most used function if i got the n95, and if it can do that...cant wait for it to come out.

can anyone translate that site plz?
 
Many potential uses.

One example, you could go in a store, read the barcode of an item, store it and the have a program on your phone do a price check and order the item if it is cheaper. I think Google/Froogle would gladly jump on that one.

That is just one example. You could get product reviews, informaiton on the item, recipes if it was a food item, download/purchase it if it as music.

Cou ld use it for time sheets, expenses, allergy information, you name it.
 
was it mentioned in that site that the N95 will have changeable font size??? coz it will have...

btw, i already got that N95 dark purple theme in my E61...
