That is for sure. The video recording is quite impressive. In my "edit" above I did note that the photo quality is quite good as long as it is daytime photography. Surprisingly I haven't looked at any pictures taken by the N93 on my laptop until today.
In any case I believe that stuffing a 5MP sensor in the N95 is more a marketing move than anything else. It can only be a noisy sensor having all those extra CCD sites on that tiny sensor. I also believe that optical zoom on the N93 was sheerly a marketing move as well. As it only reduced the capabilities of the lens and the camera as a whole. This is despite having a massive barrel to put the lens inside. I can't imagine how much worse it would be if they had to put in on the back of the phone.
Granted they have designed slim lenses with optical zoom for the Sony DSC-T7 and that whole series of cameras, but I doubt that Nokia's budget for the lens allows for that level of cost.
