Nokia N95 is coming soon...

I know 3-4 months ago they were selling the N73 and N80 in the NY store. One of the members mentioned they were both available but he opted for the N80 as he neededthe wifi capabilities more than the highres cam.

There is no way that Nokia releases this phone before the end of Q1 2007. If they had planned to release in december... they could have released it before x-mas to boost the sales.

Thanks for the heads up....didnt dig deep enough I guess. I just assumed being an employee of Nokia he was given one that had the 850/1900 UMTS bands. Oh well...that makes me feel better I guess....Everyone will be w/o it here and it's even across the board.

saw a non-working model of the n95 at a store the other day and comparing to the n80, I'd say the size is pretty decent for a phone with all these features, and the good thing about it is its pretty slim compared to my n80 so it makes the phone even nicer...

I agree...people are under the belief that the N95 prices will plummet in the next 6 months and if you look at the N80 and N73 their still pretty high! N93 seems to have dropped $100 on the average and MIGHT drop a little bit more with the release of the N93i. Of course the N93i is priced around $900 so even that will take some time. N95=$900 minimum for a long long time IMO.

that's nuts...never realized they had that...how useless. They should either use SD or Mini SD and be done with it. The micros are so damn small and I'm certain I'm going to lose one.

off topic: Taped the probowl and watching it now....just caught a glimpse of one of the probowl cheerleaders and holy probowls!
lmao...I didnt realize that each team gave up their "top" cheerleader as well.

I would assume you've tried it during your daily commute. Does your unit have the "pay" portion of the verbal guidance and has the unit been accurate while driving. The one thing that concerns me is that the phone will always require a clear view of the sky to operate correctly. I know my wifes car has an antenna on the roof of the car so it works flawlessly but who the hells gonna cram their n95 out of the sunroof to get a strong signal. I really hope this GPS is functional as I'm about to gain some new responsibilities at work that requires me to drive into untraveled territories (at least untraveled by me)

This is not true. There are most buyers in ASIA than any other parts of the world. For Example: Hong Kong has more phones than the people!! Nokia is not dumb to release phones in asia first!!
