Nokia N95 is coming soon...

I cannot speak for those who get to play with this frequently, but in my play with it at CES (more than a few times), I was impressed with the entire package. I was told (a lot) that its coming to the US, only when they can nail the issues with supporting UMTS and USA GSM frequencies. But other than than and the really buggy GPS, it was jsut about ready to go.

I made a few recommendations to the interface that were well received. But coming from a Treo 650 guy, I was quite impressed with some of its usability (though still a ways to go to match the 650).

because they are not from Nigeria...but usually from Canada/US/UK...I can pretend to be from Nigeria, or washington DC in the white house...does that mean I am really from there?

Do you know anyone from Nigeria or what kind of country it is? Probally not. More ignorance from Americans who know nothing outside their own country.

You cannot discriminate against a country like that, that is wrong. Esp when even in your post it says clearly the scammers are claiming to be out of Nigeria, which usually means they are not.

there are a few good reasons why it was a good idea to use Nigeria as a country as origin, but that's another topic if you want to know it.

Who cares about the firmware anymore. If it has bugs, big whoop. Nokia has their updater software up and rolling. Bring up the updates! Just gimme the hardware!
 
Seems like this guy is selling one on ebay and seems somewhat legit. what do you guys think? Maybe its gonna be here sooner then later?

I see, thanks for the info. I have been looking at this phone for a while. I think ill enjoy all of its wonderful features. Question though, What kind of programming does it take to make something for this type of phone? I know how to make scripts and apps for linux phones, so i wouldnt mind making stuff for this community as well as long as someone tells me the the file structure and what type of scripts it accepts. :-)

I'd like to do some h.w before i get this beast. haha
