Nokia N95 is coming soon...

Haha, Nokia is funny. They don't have their battery specs right, or they sell different batteries in different countries.

In the USA:

http://nokiausa.com/phones/N73/0,7747,feat:1,00.html

Page states a 820 battery with the 970 battery as an upgrade. Don't see a 1100 battery anywhere.

Expansys.com which has been a reliable seller for me indicated possible release in Q2 of 2007. I preordered one from them a while back. I hate waiting for things.

But we arent held to a contract. You get a discount b/c you are paying for the phone through your service agreement

These prices are the early adoption price: 875 - $945.

Not as far behind as the RIM I got today. Work wants all DM's on a blackberry service so they bought us pearls! Wow what a total CF compared to the S60 interface. The trackwheel is an interesing touch and the email integration and set up is light years ahead of anyone else but it's still a big

Wow... 40 pages and still no release... How many more pages until its actually out? Im betting 60.

By the way i am excited for this phone, this will be my first nokia in a long time, and first s60. I been used to linux but i hear s60 is good as well. So time will tell.

well its ok, i do admit posting a bit more since school ended at dec since...well school ended~

the n95 i m getting later will have fw 1.51.067...still with known issues eh.

Are you kidding me? I've been pressing refresh on all the retail store sites every few seconds! Even more than I am the s60 section today.

the worst thing to do is get a new device from the first day, especially if its a PDA of smartphone..... you will be the guinea pig for testing out bugs... and u get it for huge amount of money muwahhaha while us who cant pay that money could wait for it for few months till the firmware stablizes and then we can buy it for a decent price........

Sort of Strange WHy I did really....
1st I wanted an E50 to be my back up phone for the N95...if it ever comes out.
and
2nd I didnt want to transition from the N80 to the N95 as I was worried that reverting to the 240 x 320 screen res would have been a sore dissapointment after living with a whopping 352 x 416 for some time. Then N80's screen looks like it was painted on at times so i really wanted to cleanse myself and I knew I couldnt live with the smaller screen (as I loved to surf on my old E61 and the N95s screen will be the same size while horizontal) and I couldnt live with the horrid video and ps poor 3mp camera it had after using the N73 for some time. Other than that, it's quite possibly the most unique symbian i've ever owned other than the E61 and that's obviously because it's the first true landscape/qwerty Nokia. If your in no rush to get an N95 and looking to pick up a real gem I would recommend the N80ie any day.

Yea but my PC is alot older than any of my phones

Having a nice fast laptop would be nice...although I'd rather buy a desktop so I can overclock...
