Nokia N93 firmwares are back and ready for dowenload!!!

Just did mine guys. I did it 2am last night so that theres no chance of any distractions at all. I had the pc suite that came with the n93 when I purchased it. I was forced to upgrade because the phone kept on gettin disconnected when I was doing a back up. I ran into a couple of problems. It prompted me to take out the battery, unplug from changer and reboot the phone. I did this about 4 times and was ready to cry (I'll admit! I dont want $700 down the drain). The fifth try, the progress bar started working. Really happy with the upgrade. Special with the wlan wizard. Noticed one flaw though. I had my power up security code on. After the upgrade, it turned off the security prompt. I tried to change my password but it wouldnt accept the new password. Any ideas?
 
Because N93i firmware isn?t compatible with N93 hardware, not at all to much different, new hardware related features, different and larger firmware package that doesn?t fits to space reserved for the firmware in N93?s ROM and even if it is the same size it will newer pass the chksum.

You see firmware updating is the very sensitive process and even one wrong bit will result with dead phone or contact retailer message in best case.

If so many difference than how it is possible that a mobile's fw can be loaded to another mobile which is not same? i think it is not possible to load. so no ques comes for dead. am i right?
 
Here are the steps.
I'm also assuming that you have PC suite already installed and have used it.
1)charge the phone fully.
2)Connect the phone to a powersource (to make sure it doesn't empty out during the update process)
3)close all apps, including pc suite, firewalls, antivirus programs.
4)Make sure the phone is on and set in the General profile.
5)While the phone is plugged in and charging, connect the USB cable and choose "pc suite" when the dialog appears on the phone.
6)Open NSU and follow the stepps.

It will download the update (about 80mb file) and than aplly the firmware.
During this time you must have a continuous web connection and preferebly fast!.
During the update no matter what happens don't touch the phone or cable. As a slight moevemtn might trigger it to get loose, so if you get a phone call during the process don't touch it. Touch it only when it says the update is succesfull.
