Following extensive product trials and the subsequent release of a new version of the Nokia Software Updater (1.3.0), we are able to reintroduce the N93 into the growing portfolio of supported products.

Btw it's still v 20.0.058, atleast it's a start....hope v30 is coming soon.
 
No its not a joke, I got it few hours ago and I can say that it worth upgrading

Nokia N93 finally (re)supported by NSU!!!



The long awaited v20 firmwareversion for Nokia N93is finally supported via te NSU. As you may have already know, support for N93was ?temporary? unavailable after an unacceptably high number of potential update failures being reported and some were ending up with devices which could not be switched on again.

Because of these two factors they have disabled the product temporarily while investigations took place and finally it seams that they solved all problems and N93 is finally available again for update over the NSU.

Of course there are technical differences between updating using Nokia Software Updater and updating at Nokia service points where firmware was available regularly. Anyway if you are not lucky enough to have the official Nokia service point in your neighbourhood than this is the extremely good news for you.

My NSU is stuck at the "Searching for connected phone" screen. Besides a full format, does anyone know a way to fix this? I've already uninstalled and reinstalled PC Suite and NSU and I have my firewall/antivirus/popup blocker disabled.

Any advice would be appreciated
 
My NSU is lagging as well so I restarted my computer, so now when I open NSU I get a "Network Connection Lost" screen.

Typical, finally the update is here and my NSU aint working properly.
 
FINALLY!!!!

I did the upgrade a few hours ago and it went without a hitch!

i have been waiting for tooooo long already, sad part is i just sold my n93 to a friend yesterday!

he says he'll have the cash by friday....if not, i'm keepin her untill the n95 is out.
 
I also got version 20 now on my N93,,,starts up very fast now (about 11 secs) and is more stable and faster.

One little weird thing I found though is that in when you go into downloads you get catalogs and another download. But the one inside is empty, only catalogs has content, is this the same with you guys??
 
Haha way to think positive! I read on the nokia forums that the vid camera keeps switching from color to black and white when you have it on night mode. I upgraded anyway and I actually kind of like the effect. Makes it seem very trippy and wizard of Oz like!
