Nokia N80ie in silver--is this a US color?

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000IEDH9E/sr/ref=pd_cp__1/103-7963072-5815814?ie=UTF8&qid=1178578739&sr=8-1&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-41&pf_rd_r=17K668BD0STCRBESXNV3&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_p=278363001&pf_rd_i=B000M0EN6A

I wanted to buy a Nokia n80ie and I live in the states. I'd rather have a US warranty. i called amazon and they said they don't believe this is an import, but I don't think i've ever seen a silver n80 US colorway. Anybody care to shed some light? I'd rather not have purchased a phone only to find out later I had no warranty.
any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

There are no silver N80 IE from factoy, N80 IE comes only in black and Patina Bronze, silver are basic. But you canalways update silver to IE

If you want a USA warranty go to www.nokiausa.com

If you can find a silver or black N80 with the English language pack and a proper warranty, don't worry about the "IE" designation. A plain-Jane N80 with the latest firmware, which you can download from Nokia, will have exactly the same functionality as the IE version.

perhaps they are selling a silver N80 then, and not an IE? not that big a deal to me, like you said, I can just use NSU to update to IE.
as for US warranty, the black one at amazon sells for $405.99, ships free and has no tax in CA, that's about $150 less than nokiausa.com. add to that the fact that i've called amazon customer care and they pretty much told me the black is not an import and is for the North American market, and i'm sold. just that they're OOS right now, as opposed to the silver, which is $436.
I guess I should just wait until they get the black one again.

If Amazon has an N80 for the North American market, and it comes with a proper warranty, I'd say you're safe buying it. Mine is black and still beautiful in my eyes after 10 months of use.

They had an official Nokia display case with the N80, 770, and a couple of other phones. I bought my 770 there and it had a US warranty, so I assume everything was US versions.
