For those of you who need huge space for MP3s, pictures .. etc .. and happen to have a NOkia N80 ... guess what ... try 4GB miniSD ..

Nearly 6000 pictures (5960 shows on screen)... nice ..


Took 2 pictures ... 5958 left


... My initial test on N80 with TOPRAM 4GB miniSD card ... pass

Anyone out there ... test 4GB miniSD on N80 yet ? feedback

I test the 4GB miniSD card a little with Nokia 6280 and another model .. I forgot model number ... 6280 not smooth .. not sure why.. need to check more .. the other model .. look link N80 (smaller, and miniSD slot on the TOP) accept 4GB miniSD, but, will NOT display the memory size properly, I took pictures and short video clip .. it's ok .. not smooth..

Will test it on N93 .. (my guess N93 should work just fine with 4GB miniSD)

Hey guys...we're Hofo right? I mean...where else in the world would anyone ever go to find out if a 4gb works in an N80 well.

Being the bigas$ community we are, not ONE single mofo on hofo with an N80 dropped big bucks on a 4gb and tried it? NOT ONE ?????

Can you try to copy about 4G data to miniSD and see if the phone can read all data correctly? I read a news recently saying that there is a way to make a 2Gb frash menory to become 4Gb.

Not sure if anyone tried on a N80. But I tried a 4GB card on my N73 & it did NOT work.

Your thread is the one i was referring to before....just because it can read a card doesnt insure that it will run well, and a S60 that's not running smooth is nto worth owning IMO.

wait.......the n91 and n80 both run on the same software....how come n91 can recognize a 4gb-8gh hard drive while the n80 cant????????????????i dnt think it has anything to do with fat16 allocation since 4gb is above fat16 standards
