Not sure if it's compatible with the new Series 60, but I use Smartmovie on my 6620 to play .avi files. If anyone knows that it works on N80 please share.

Close open apps besides for Smartmovie...hold the menu key to pull up the task manager and then hit C to close the selected apps.

I have smartmovie player installed to my N90 but how do I convert movies to .avi to play with smartmovie?

The smartmovie software should have included a converter. If you don't have one, go to lonleycatgames.com website and download it there. You will need to generate a code from smartmovie (from phone) to unlock the PC software.

I agree with the others. Close all other apps. It plays video very smoothly on mine.

ddsdude how is the wifi connection on your N80. I'm thinking of purshasing one because of the wifi capabilities. Is it pretty good or you don't even use it.

Hi i've downloaded the Smartmovie but when trasfering it to my N80 its says .sis files are not supported?

WiFi is excellent. I use it daily as I work in a mall where a free WiFi network is available. Web surfing works great with the included browser as well as Opera Mini that I installed. The connection is maintained very well and I've never actually "lost it" even after about 1.5 hours of surfing, reading/replying to e-mail, etc. Very cool feature!

Smartmovie versions before 3.2 did not support S60v3 (the OS on the N80). You need to use v3.21 (latest version) and the installer file will have a .sisx (NOT .sis) extension.

DivX Player is a free alternative. Almost a direct copy/ripoff of smartmovie you can find it at DivX.com
