nokia n75 carrier dependant?

The n75 is supposed to be the first Nokia with US 3G, and I am assuming it will be released on Cingular. Cingular has a habit of dragging its feet with these products (9300, w810, etc.) so do you think nokia will just release this phone independant of Cingular's release or do you think we won't see this until it has the crappy firmware all over it?
 
well.......there are pics of the N75, branded by cingular.


take it for what it's worth, could be another N80 situation but I doubt it.
 
As far as timing goes, I'm sure Nokia will be quicker than Cingular, but if the deal is solid between the two companies, the phone should be released simultaneously, in theory.

Also the phone was developed from my understanding as a co-venture between Cingular and Nokia so it should be out at the same time if not on Cingular first and then later Nokia if Cingular has an exclusivity agreement on the phone
