Nokia N73 Music Player unable to detect MP3s?!

So I transferred some mp3s from data cable, and for some reason the music player is not able to detect them. However, I can find them in the file manager BUT for some reason i cant add it into the music player app...anyone have any suggestions? thanks!

no, it just says it cant find any new tracks...it finds my old ones but the new ones arae just not there for some reason...sigh

Did you update your music library and you got this error? Where did you put the music?

I had a problem with that once with my 6682, when I ripped the files to mp3 format using WMP, the bitrate was set too high and it would never recognize the files, then I deleted my library and started all over again on a lower setting, and it worked fine...don't know if this post helped at all...just thought I would share with the class

o all this and had rough time to find a solution myself but, open MP, options, music library and from there options again and choose "update music Library" it will do the trick

they just say no tracks detected..and i put them in the other folder~ funny thing is the thing found the other songs i put in the card but just not the 3 that i wanted

you are using "ADD TRACKS" option. try whatever i suggested. above
