Nokia N73 Music Edition Availability

I just would want to verify if anyone has already seen the Nokia N73 music edition. I just emailed nokia careline and they said that its already released here in the Philippines. But when i called their hotline the customer service assistand told me that its still not yet released here in the Philippines but its already released in singapore. I am waiting for this phone as i have just sold my regular silver n73 to get this one

Nokia said "4th Quarter" so it could be anytime from now to the end of the year.

nokia said sometime in october, theres still one week left... how long does it really take them to slap on a new housing on existing phones, and throw in an extra memory card?

The only difference between normal & music edition is the black covers and music key (converted from media key). Just for this I wouldn't wait & pay more for the music edition.

I had the N73 but i sold it after i knew they would release a music edition since i really really like the black color because it looks sleek unlike the silver or white colors which look too plasticky. I just hope they would release it sooner. Its also said that it would come with 2Gb mini sd so if ever it would be more expensive than the normal n73 then it would be ok since price for the 2Gb mini sd is also expensive

As far as I know it is still gonna be pop port. I highly doubt that they will add a 3.5 mm jack.

they said that the n73 ME is gona be around 450 euros.. which is around 640 CAD.. but im pretty sure theres gona be cheaper prices in hong kong..

2 Gb MiniSD cards aren't that expensive anymore. You can get one for $50 US right out of eBay shipped, if not less.

I'd be curious how the firmware will perform. With luck, it'll just be a revised version of the current firmware for all of the phones.

I suppose I'd have no use for an N73 ME since I already have the AD-15 and a 2 Gb card, huh?

if the price of the new n73 is reasonably around the price of a new housing + 2 gig minisd, im all for it... by the looks of it, its around 100 bucks more with the projected 450 euro price... which sounds reasonable to me
