Nokia N73 keypad and joystick

Can some more people comment on the keypad and joystick on the N73? This is one of the main things holding me back. I have heard people say it is alright and others say the joystick is a ******* to use and the keys are squished and cheap.

I would also like your opinion on how it compares to the 6290 and the 6233 as it seems to share aspects of both these other phones.
 
The N73 keypad isn't great. The keys are quite small so you have to press them with the ends of your fingers and while the joystick is passable, it is miles off the ease of use of a d-pad. The 6233 has the best keyboard of all Nokia phones, so it is streets ahead in comparison to the N73.
 
Personally, I've had no problem with the joystick but my phone is only a little over a month old.

The keys, yes, they are "squished and cheap" compared to my 6682.

But, I still LOVE the phone!
 
Hmmm there may be a problem. I actually think the 6233 keys suck. Its too soft and feels like its going to pop out everytime I used it back when I owned one. Keys got this slimy nasty feel to it too. I think I'm a hard key person. I hate flat RAZR keys though.
