Nokia N71 memory error

I've been getting a full memory error on my Nokia N71 more and more lately.

When I do a memory check this is what shows.

Phone memory:
14 MB Memory in use
56kB Free memory
2kB Calendar
81kB Contacts
0B Messages
0B Images
0B Sound files
0B Video clips
7kB Documents
0B Applications

I seem to have some phantom memory going to the in use memory, but it doesn't show up anywhere. And these numbers are after a reset. It is giving me a low memory error and now won't even receive text messages.

The memory card looks like this:

389MB Memory in use
95 MB Free memory
0B Calendar
0B Contacts
878 kB Messages
22MB Images
283 MB Sound files
18 MB Video clips
16kB Documents
100 kB Applications

I can't understand why I'm getting a full memory message! Any tips or ideas?

This is referring to your RAM, not your physical memory. You need to check out available RAM with y-browser or handy task manager.

Ok I'm really not sure what to do. If that is reffering to my RAM how did it get so low? I'll take a picture which gets stored to my memory card and I'll get a low memory error. My phone won't even receive text messages anymore b/c the memory is so low. The little message icon just flashes. Anybody have any suggestions. I'm pretty close to jsut selling it honestly.

I don't have any apps running. I just did a restart and I got a bunch of text messages but after a few it gave me another low memory error and stopped receiving them. I'm just gonna do a full reset actually. And see if that helps.
