Nokia N70 or SE K750i - Please Help Me Choose!

Hi All,

My carrier has just informed that I can upgrade my handset. About time too - if I have to use this Motorola E398 for much longer I will go insane

Basically I think I've nailed it down to 2 choices - the Nokia N70 or the SE K750i. Now I know the market for these 2 phones is a bit different - realistically the N70 should smash the K750i.

Basically if the phone does everything a phone should do I'd be happy. Camera, mp3 players, organisers etc are all bonuses.

My number 1 priority though (and the reason I dislike my E398 so much) is response time. I can handle programs taking a couple of moments to load, that's fine. What I can't stand is key lagging, especially when travelling through the menus or writing an SMS. If either phone is as bad as my E398 I would be very very upset. Essentials as long as I can type a message and the phone keeps up I will be happy.

So.... owners... what are they like?
 
The K750i has the better camera and is the most responsive of the two.

Neither phone lags when texting or in general use, but opening applications on the N70 can take a moment or two.

Where the N70 is it's expandability. There's loads of third party software available for it, adding DivX players, console emulators, sat nav and much more. It's a very versitile phone that takes quite a while to get bored of.

Either phone is a BIG step up from the E398 though.
 
MMMM I like to fiddle with stuff, so looks like the N70 might be the one.

Unless it's worth holding off until the N80 is released?
 
mmm the N80 looks awesome
if u like to fiddle the wifi will do you good

but if u cant wait it all depends on what u want in a phone
some ppl say the k750 is a camera first, then a phone.
Reception and call quality arent the greatest

N70 wise, there are TONS AND TONS of apps
really depends on what u need
