Nokia mentioned last year in August that it would release Nokia Money pilot but no select countries were mentioned until now. Nokia has announced that they will be launching Nokia Money pilot in India.
Pune in India will be the first to get the Nokia Money pilot thanks to YES BANK, hence the name, Mobile Money Services. Nokia Money pilot allows customers to receive and transfer money, pay utility bills and top up their SIM cards from their phone by using just their phone numbers.
The exact launch date has not been mentioned.
