I was setting up a co-workers E62 with blackberry connect today and the menu speeds are painfully slow. The start up graphics and overall screen appears to be a bit nicer than my E61s was but the phone as a whole is totally different. Cingular managed to ruin a good thing by not releasing the E61 IMO.

Cingular is known for messing the up the FW with their branding... thats why I never buy phones from them

Mail for Exchange is too limited in its capabilities compared with WM5;
Slow OS;
Occasional reboots;
Phone is not compatible with self signed server certificates;
Non Cingular signed applications need continuous approval for Internet access. Even Wayfinder is asking it every time!
Where are the firmware updates??
