Nokia E90 Screen Shot

Gotcha! With all of the bickering about the lack of us3g from Nokias I should have figured a story like that wouldnt fly under the radar.

as I commented on Stefan's blog, I've been sent this "screenshot" before, and if you check the properties of the original file, it clearly shows that it was created with Adobe Photoshop. I pulled up one of the screenshots I have from my N73 and does not say the same thing. Thus I'm going to call fake.

While I dont doubt you and nearly everything points to it as a fake (some akward placement) where did you gain access to the original file? Either way, the potential of a similar screen is easily believable. As I mentioned before though, it would be a first to see a screen shot before a spy shot of the actual unit.

Possibilities are frightening arent they? I see the N95 being part of my stable for a short period of time...then it's up on the B/S/T for some E90 fundage!!!

Ring nokia has a bigger version of the screenshot, with the resolution being 800 x 352 px.

I like how the whole thing looks, despite the inverted battery and three softkeys. I'd rather have the N95 though... -_-" I don't get why people would want a large phone like this compared to a short N95.

Whether the screenshot is fake or not, we all know this phone will be coming in one form or another. I personally think it's fake, but, we'll see what happens.

A lot of people are willing to give up compact size for a phone with a full qwerty -

Did you save the thumbnail or save the one from the link? Perhaps you might have saved the thumbnail, because the size of the thumbnail is exactly the same as what you posted and I don't think the blogger reuploaded a new screenshot that is 800 x 352 later on.

The thumbnail was 700 x whatever and it had a link to the full res version. That being said, Rcadden has verified the legitimacy of the screen shot so I'm satisfied with that. Like I said before, we know a s60 variation of the communicator series is coming out so the actual product should be similar to that regardless.

...this is the link and it clearly states to click on it for a 800 x 352 example.

800 x 352

Though the image posted may have tags from Photoshop, I have a hunch, which I posted elsewhere earlier.

If the original screenshot were 800x352 and the image we see now is 700x308, then the image was reduced in size (logically), but the dimensions still fit. 800/352=700/308, and if Photoshop was used to resize the image, then we have all our questions answered.

Though, I could be wrong and this could very well still be a fake, at least there's a reason it would be tagged from Photoshop and a different resolution than the alleged communicator in question.

but it was posted months before this screenshot that the internal face of the unit would have 4 soft keys so it's at least consistent with those initial reports.

You dont really need to try and duplicate a PC keybaord on a phone. There are smarter ways or getting the functionality.

The SE M600i is proof that you can get a legit keyboard without giving up compact size IMO. I would think that is the way to go.

I can see the attraction to widescreen, but even then I'd favour the use of thise double keys from M600i to save space and size .

man the SE M600i is one sexy phone, but too bad SE doesnt like to cater to us gsm850 users!! if it had 850 ill be getting that phone, but too bad. the thing bout nokia communicators is that there supposed to be like a mini lappy then a smart phone!

i hope the e90 has these:
quad band
3g
wifi
and a n73 camera with 30fps
and monsters amount of ram.

i hope they will at least have this stuff!

Now to quote

So now you're saying you saved the thumbnail, not the full version? Yeah, that's what I've been saying the whole time. -_-"
