nokia E62: any barcode scanner app

No I've heard of SOMETHING that uses the camera to take a pic and then analyzes the bar code. If anyone finds one, post on here. I think one of the E-series actually has the program built-in, IIRC.

That's the closest thing I could find. There's an email address for support, try that.

well the N93 has a barcode scanner app pre-installed on it

its to read barcodes that gives infomation
like telephone numbers, addresses,website,emails
and the like from magazines or such (thats what it says with a leaflet that came with the N93)

but never seen any off these barcodes around
except the 1 Nokia gave on the leaflet (for a Nokia website)

The one on the n93 works fine, though it's useless for 99% of people. All a barcode is, keep in mind, is a series of numbers with a certain font applied to change it to look like a barcode. For example, on postal bulk mail, it's called a 'postnet barcode', and looks like this: :39939399393:

Anyway, the n93 app just translates it into numbers.
