Nokia E61 vs Sony Ericsson K790a

I know it may be a bit of an unusual comparison, what with the K790a having an awesome 3 MP camera and the E61 having none, but it's what i'm debating right now.

E61 Pros: WiFi, QWERTY, Big Screen
E61 Cons: Have heard Symbian can be slow, No Camera

K790a Pros: Excellent camera for a phone, SE UI that I'm used to
K790a Cons: Memory Stick Micro, small keypad, small screen for the size of the phone

Any more thoughts?
 
IMO having the Wi-Fi option trumps having the 3mp camera.If Nokia would only have released the E61 with a megapixel camera ( like Motorola's Q). I like SE phones but,like you said, this is an apples-to-oranges comparison.
 
you REALLY need to outline what your needs are otherwise this comparison does not make sense. do you need strictly a camera phone, or do you need a PDA with WiFi capabilities? only reiterating other people's sentiments, you simply can't compare the two phones.

as for the symbian OS being slow, i suppose it just boils down to the phone. my n93 is comparatively faster over the e61, and it uses the same OS. just faster processor speed in the n93. i don't even know what you consider as "slow", but i find the e61 to be a great device.

please be more specific in your needs.
 
my NEEDS are a 3 MP E61 lol. but it doesn't exist. so i have decided to go with the e61, since dedicated digital cameras trump a cell phone anyway, and i really am attracted to the qwerty keypad and the wifi. whether they'll be as useful as i expect, that's another issue. we'll see
