Nokia E61 Hong Kong Sourced No Update

I purchased an E61 from the Nokia Store in HK Sept 2006. It came
with 2.xx firmware. I went to update it via NSU, and its reporting
no new firmware (currently version 3.xx available).

TYPE RM-89
MODEL E61-1
CODE 0538687

Any people know when nokia will post an update for my poor mobile. I'm
jealous that the rest of the world gets version 3.xx and im stuck with old
clunky software.
 
Any luck anyone? I got mine from myworldphone.com, and from reading the other thread, I don't think the 'fix tutorial' will work for this product code.

Any advice otherwise?
 
Yeah this issue has been reported already - just to get you started:
1. Change product code
2. Get the latest NSU from nokia
3. Kill Norton
4. Update
5. Try to figure out how to get everything back in a form you are used to.
