Hey guys,

My problem is my bt headset will randomly connect and disconnect, and sometimes it wont reconnect for anything! The only way to get it to reconnect is to plug the headset in the charger and than unplug it amd it will connect perfect. WTF! It does the connect disconnect with any bt headset i use. Now im using the jabra jx10 and my other bt headsets would always reconnect this one I have to plug it in the charger to re connect. It doesnt do it all the time, but its annoying when im out and the headset wont connect.

Yea:

I am having the same kind of problem. I thought it was something to do with my bluetooth headset, Jabra 250. But at times the headset won't connect to the phone, no matter what I do. I then put it in the charger and do a hard reset and it will connect. I di not know what is going on. It is like if I turn the headset off and then turn it back on, I cannot get it to pair back up with the phone. I am perplexed with this also

Is there any reason why it randomly disconnects and reconnects? This is a pretty big problem, I didnt expect this kind of bt performance from Nokia, maybe a windows mobile but not s60

perhaps it is not the e61 that has the problem... it could be your BT HS... how old are your BT HS??? if it is more than a year old, it could be your battery, if that is the case just buy a new BT HS...

I have a brand new Jabra Jx10. If all of you guys are having the same problem, I dont think its the headset. But I dont recall it doing this with my BT500, it did disconnect and reconnect, but never just WOULD NOT connect afterwards.

Does someone have an answer to this because it is totally perplexing me. If I remember correct in dealing with nokia when I had the 6800 phone, they said there phones do not work well with Jabra Bluetooth Headswts. Maybe that is the problem----Nokia phones and Jabra BT HS

My Jabra BT500 worked perfect and with out this problem. Yeah it is driving me NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!! ERRRRRRR I just dropped $68 for my JX10 and now this shizzzzzit!!!!!!!

Well I jjust emailed Jabra to see what they say. I am begign to think that th eproblem is with the headset. I have a Plantronics 640, a BT500, AX2, and the JX10. I have not had this issue with any other headset except my JX10.

Had similar issue where my Moto HS850 wouldnt reconnect to my N80.

The phone wouldn't even go back into pairing mode so I could set it up again with the phone untill I plugged it in the charger and then it worked fine.

Happened 2 time in a few weeks. Its as if the phone pairing configures something in the headsets (which its supposed to anyways) that causes this issue.

Not really cause pairing is a programming of some sort between the phone and headset.

If you stopped it then you would need to pair every time which im sure would be more annoying then just plugging in the headset once in a while.

Mm that makes sense. I guess since the phone has headset and bt handsfree profile, maby there some sort of conflict. Its just soo freakin annoying, it happens at least once a day.

Yea, I have given up with my bluetooth. I had to keep on pairing it up over and over. then it to where it would not even pair up.

I do not know what to do.

I was reading over in the symbian.com forum, there is a poster who is having similar problems with another nokia modeled phone and the Jabra 250 Headset. I'm telling you, a while ago, Nokia told me that Jabra headsets do not work well with their phones. I am starting to think that there is something to that. I am praying to death that it is not something wrong with my E61

i dont think that the problem is with E61... and if it is, then we can wait for a new FW

the problem with jabra and nokia was with the old jabra 200, which did not include handsfree profile, that was like 3 or 4 years ago... most bt hs nowadays will have both profiles...

There is alot of discussions here and different brands of BT headsets. I have a somewhat similar problem. My BT Headset is connected to my E61, as confirmed by the icon on the phone. Problem is audio is not pass on the headset when I answer or make a call. Another thing, when i initially voice dialing on the BT Headset, I get "no match". I only thing I did before started experiencing this is getting BB Connect activated on my E61. I have Jabra BT150 and SE HBH-662 and both have the same symptoms.
