*This review does not contain pics. But they will come asap. I will go into as much detail as I can.
First Impressions:
When I first picked up my Nokia E60 late last week, it looked a little bit bigger in person than in reviews by GSMarena, but its a good size. It feels good when held in hand during phone calls.
The phone looks very professional. A silver metallic plate outlines the screen, and the keypad, somewhat like the Nokia N70 giving it that "classy" look. The phone feels very solid, no creaks whatsoever. Keypad lighting is more than sufficient and only comes on when needed, due to the light sensor just above the earpiece. (this sensor also controls screen brightness) There are clear pieces between the keys that also provide additional lighting, and they also give a nice look to the phone when the keypad lights up. (Again, pics will be posted at a later date)
Display:
One word. AMAZING. The screen resolution is the same as the Nokia N80.
Menu speed & navigation:
I have to say, the E60 has great menu speed. I dont find any lag at all browsing the menu. The joystick is very easy to use and is very responsive.
I also like how the menu button is right below the joystick. Others may not like this, but this is personal preference.
Connectivity:
No problems at all when connecting to Nokia PC suite.
The Wifi connection is very good. You can set the phone to search for a connection every 5 minutes, 10 minutes, etc, but this will surely drain the battery faster. When connected to wifi, browsing is very easy due to the joystick. (My only gripe would be that when typing in passwords to sites that you're a member of, the T9 is not enabled, but only enabled when entering your username or typing on forums, msn etc.)
Typing is not a big deal for me when browsing the net, due to the fact that I've become quite a fast typer with the T9 predictive text. Others would probably prefer the full qwerty keyboard on the E61.
I still have yet to test the bluetooth connectivity option.
Overall Performance:
Reception wise, I have experienced no problems whatsoever. But what do you expect? Its a nokia
The handset is only triband, no 850. In my area that is no problem. I get great reception wherever I go. (Again, some may prefer the 850 quadband on the E61) Call quality is great as with every other Nokia I've owned.
Thats all I can think of writing for now, any other E60 users feel free to add
