Nokia E50

Currently i have the W810i, and need a worthy upgrade. Originally was considering to get N73 or N80 but there are problems with both of these phones, and also they are way to big. E50 looks very promising similar to 6230i except it is quadband and got more features in it. What do you think i should do get E50, or an Nseries phone?
 
if size matters the E50 is small compared to the N73...the N80 is compact but slightly thick....but the N80 takes it all for features and functions.....latest firmwares have the N80 working smooth....battery life is still a small minor issue...E50 battery life is great

for the price you could get a E50 for under 300
 
what "problems" are the N73 and N80 having? N80 has slightly poor battery life, but I personally got the same as what I had on my 6682. The N73, OTOH, is fantastic, and would be a great upgrade features-wise.
 
Thanks for your replies guys and gals, problems that i have read about on reviews are the some of firmware s60 problems but some people just say update it, that is what i meant. Camera aint big deal to me, as long as got one pretty much. There aint no big difference between camera on N80 or N73 when compared to W810i. If camera was main concern i would get N93.
 
I came from a W810i to a E50.

There are some things you'll notice when going from the W810i to the E50. Camera & Slowness

But overall, I'm alright with the E50. I used to have a Nokia 6620 so S60 wasn't brand new to me.. The E50 is much more of a solid phone. I love holding the thing, it feels soo much better than the W810, and doesn't creak like crazy either!
 
E50 is smaller and thinner. And CHEAPER.

Also if you put a BL-6C in it and adjust the battery cover to make that fit, you will have much longer battery life than N73 and obviously N80.

I have been testing my wifes N73 and I still decided to get E50 anyway. N73 camera is not that great. It doesnt compare to a digicam and E50's is basic but fine enough anyway.

What you miss is 3G service, but 3G usage charges are so expensive over here that I wasnt using internet anyway. It can still do e-mail and basic internet in any case.
 
how is it other than the camera and maybe the MP3 player?
its a smartphone so there is no comparison. the E50 will do more for you than the W810i.
